About Baaydo — Chef Amir Zubair

My name is Chef Amir Zubair. I am a professional chef from Lahore, Pakistan. I built Baaydo to share my real restaurant recipes with you.
Every recipe you find on Baaydo is my own tested professional recipe. I cooked these dishes in my own restaurant kitchen. I tested them again and again until they tasted right. Now I am sharing them here so you can cook the same professional flavors at home.
Why I started Baaydo
For years, I watched cooking videos on YouTube and read recipes on other blogs. I noticed a pattern. Many creators claim that their recipes are professional restaurant recipes. They say their recipe is the exact recipe a restaurant uses. But when I looked at those recipes closely, I knew they were not professional recipes. They missed the small details that make a dish taste truly professional. They missed the techniques that we use in a real restaurant kitchen. A home cook who follows them never gets the restaurant taste they were promised.
I did not like that. I knew I had real professional recipes. I knew I could help people cook better food at home. So I decided to publish my own recipes. I wanted Baaydo to be the place where a recipe means a real recipe. No false claims. No shortcuts that ruin the taste.
How every article is made
But there was one problem. I am a chef, not a writer. Writing a clear recipe article for the internet is a different skill. A good recipe article must be clear, easy to follow, and friendly to search engines so people can find it. I knew I needed help with that part.
So I contacted an SEO content writer named Zahid Tayyab. I shared my idea with him. I told him I wanted a blog where every recipe is a real professional restaurant recipe. He believed in the idea. We started working together.
Written with my kitchen knowledge
Here is how every article on Baaydo is created. Zahid Tayyab writes the recipe article. He sits with me while he writes. I share the recipe details, the techniques, and the tips from my restaurant experience. He turns that into a clear, well-written article.
Proofread and approved by me
Then I personally proofread every single article before it is approved. I check every recipe step. I check every ingredient measurement. I check every cooking time. If something is not exactly right, I fix it. Nothing gets published until I approve it.
That means when you read a recipe on Baaydo, you are getting my professional knowledge, written in a way that is easy to follow, and checked by me personally.
What makes a Baaydo recipe different
My goal is simple. I want you to cook dishes at home that taste like they came from a professional restaurant kitchen. I want you to feel confident in your kitchen. I want your family to ask you how you made food taste this good.
A restaurant recipe is a system
Let me tell you what makes a Baaydo recipe different from a regular internet recipe. In a restaurant, a recipe is a system. The oil temperature matters. The resting time matters. The order in which ingredients go into the pan matters. When I write a recipe for Baaydo, I include all of those details. I tell you the exact flame level. I tell you how the mixture should look before you move to the next step. I tell you the mistakes to avoid. These are the details that restaurant chefs teach their junior cooks. Most online recipes skip them because the writer never worked in a professional kitchen. I do not skip them.
Tested for your home kitchen
I also test every recipe for the home kitchen. A restaurant has powerful burners, large ovens, and commercial mixers. Your kitchen is different. So after I finalize a recipe, I cook it again the way you will cook it, with regular home equipment. If a step needs adjustment for a home stove, I adjust it and I write that adjustment into the recipe. That is why Baaydo recipes work on the first try for so many readers.
The troubleshooting blog
You will also find a troubleshooting blog on Baaydo. Over the years, I have seen home cooks face the same problems again and again. Naan that does not puff. Kebabs that fall off the skewer. Cakes that sink in the middle. Kheer that sticks to the pot. Each blog guide explains why the problem happens and how to fix it, in plain language. I created these guides because a recipe alone is not enough. You also need to understand the technique behind it.
My promise to you
Here is my promise to you. I will never publish a recipe I have not cooked myself. I will never publish an article I have not read and approved myself. Zahid Tayyab writes the words, but the knowledge in every article comes from my kitchen and my experience. If a recipe carries the Baaydo name, it has my name behind it too.
Welcome to Baaydo
I built this blog for people who love good food and want to cook it well. If that is you, you are in the right place.
One more thing I want you to know. Baaydo will keep growing. I am adding new recipes from my own collection every week, and the troubleshooting blog will keep answering the questions that home cooks ask me most. If you try a recipe and something does not work, tell me through the contact page. I read every message. Your questions help me write better guides.
So pick a recipe. Read it carefully. Follow the steps. Trust the process. And enjoy cooking.
Welcome to Baaydo. Now go make something delicious.
